Sudoku Ink Privacy Policy

The short version

Sudoku Ink does not ask you to create an account, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or tracking. Your games, statistics and settings stay on your device. We do not collect your personal information.

What stays on your device

The app stores your game progress, statistics, achievements, daily puzzle history, appearance choices and preferences locally on your device, using its private app storage. This data is never uploaded to us, because we do not run any servers that receive it.

Your device backup (for example iCloud Backup) may include this data, according to your own Apple settings. That is handled by Apple, not by us.

Purchases

Optional Sudoku Ink Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details.

To unlock Pro and let you restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated for your installation, your purchase receipt and entitlement status, and basic technical information needed to validate it (such as app version, device type and operating system version). It does not receive your name, email address or other personal details from us. RevenueCat acts on our behalf; see revenuecat.com/privacy for how it handles data.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, the app can report your achievements to it. This is optional and handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your Game Center identity or data. If you are not signed in, the app works fully without it.

What we do not do

We do not collect analytics or usage data. We do not show advertising. We do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites, so the app does not ask for tracking permission. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not hold any. The app does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

If the app encounters a technical error, a short error note may be kept in the app’s private storage on your device to help troubleshoot. It is not sent anywhere automatically.

Children

Sudoku Ink is a general puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. To also ask RevenueCat to delete the anonymous purchase record associated with your installation, contact us using the details below. Game Center data can be managed in your Apple account settings. Your purchases remain tied to your Apple account and can be restored on a new installation.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update it in the app and revise the effective date below.
